ZTE’s Nubia brand just might be working on Nubia Z17 successor. A phone bearing the model NX606J has made its way at TENAA for certification. The handset is believed to be Nubia Z18 and packs in some flagship specs.
For starters, the mobile measures 148.58 x 72.54 x 8.55 mm and weighs 172 grams. It supports 4G VoLTE and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo OS out of the box. It has fingerprint sensor for quick unlocking.
The Nubia NX606J or you can say it as Nubia Z18 features in 5.99-inch multi-touch display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It has 3350 mAh battery which should last you for at least a day.
The cell phone is powered by 2.649GHz octa-core processor (just might be Snapdragon 845 SoC) and comes in options for 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB internal ROM. Both the variants does not allow further expansion of storage.
According to TENAA listing, there is a total of three camera. At the back side is two rear cameras, a 24MP shooter and 8MP camera coupled with dual-tone LED Flash. At the front side is an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth, USB Type-C, GPS should be present as well. Additionally, it also includes gravity sensor, proximity and ambient light sensors.
The Nubia NX606J has also made its way at AnTuTu which revealed key aspects. The specifications are at par with TENAA listing and are validated by each other. At AnTuTu, allegedly called Nubia Z18 managed to score 271674 points, a score fairly similar to recent SD845 powered flagships.
The ZTE Nubia Z18 (NX606J) will come in Black and Gold colors. The handset is expected sometime in May end or June, just around the time when Nubia Z17 was introduced.
