ZTE’s Nubia brand as expected, has announced its latest gaming smartphone called Nubia Red Magic 3.
The device measures 171.7 x 78.5 x 9.65 mm and weighs 215 grams. It has rear mounted fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking.
The Nubia Red Magic 3 features in sate of the art liquid cooling technology along with internal turbo fan, which increases effective heat transfer by 500%.
Additionally, the smartphone comes with Touch-sensitive shoulder triggers which acts as additional hardware buttons. This will eliminate need of gamepad accessory which people resort to infamous PUBG game.
The triggers can be custom configured according to game. The handset has RGB lighting with several effects which is also customizable as well using Red Magic’s light effects editor.
The Nubia Red Magic 3 features in 6.65-inch AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The screen offers 90Hz refresh rate and delivers 430nits brightness.
Under the hood is octa-core (2.84GHz Kryo 485 x 1 + 2.42GHz Kryo 485 x 3 + 1.8GHz Kryo 485 x 4) Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform with Adreno 640 GPU. It has 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB / 128GB (UFS2.1) storage options. There is a premium 12GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB (UFS 2.1) Storage space.
There is a an additional “Red Magic Game Space 2.0″, which is a gaming0-focused dashboard. You can organize and quick-launch games, fine-tune performance settings and fan speeds. It has temperature monitor (real time), record in-video games and black notifications as well.
The Nubia Red Magic 3 specs include 16MP selfie camera with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side is 48MP with dual LED flash, 1/2.0” Sony IMX586 sensor, F/1.75 aperture and 0.8μm pixels size. The 48MP shooter offers 12MP output.
There are dual  front-facing stereo speakers with DTS:X and 3D surround sound technology that creates a cinematic sound (with/without headphones). There is a 5000mAh battery with 27W fast charging support. Statistically, it provides 1 hours of game play with 10-minute charging.
The smartphone is powered by Android 9.0 Pie with Redmagic OS 2.0. It has has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), 2×2 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm Audio Jack.

The Nubia Red Magic 3 comes in Black, Camouflage, Flame Red and Red with Blue Gradient colors. It will go on sale in China from May 3, 2019. It will also roll out in US, Canada, Europe and UK later in May. The handset will also land in India however, exact dates are not known.
