ZTE’s Nubia brand has just announced its latest ‘Z Series’ smartphone in China called Nubia Z17 Mini. It was announced at an event in China.
The phone comes with fingerprint sensor on the back. The device measures 146.65 x 72.5 x 7.45 mm , weighs 155 grams and sports uni-body metal design. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Nubia UI 4.0.
The Nubia Z17 Mini Specs include 5.2-inch LTPS display with 2.5D curved glass. It has 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 424ppi pixel density.. The screen delivers 1500:1 contrast, 85% NTSC color gamut and supports multi-touch as well.
It comes with octa-core Snapdragon 652 / 653 processor (depending on RAM variant) with Adreno 510 GPU. It has 4GB and 6GB RAM options, both with 64GB eMMC 5.1 internal memory. The handset allows further expansion up to 200GB using MicroSD Card.
The Nubia Z17 Mini features in 16MP selfie camera with 80-degree wide angle lens, 5P lens and F/2.0 Aperture. On the back side is a dual camera setup, consisting of 13MP Monochrome + 13MP RGB snappers. Primary camera features include Sony IMX258 Sensor, F/2.2 Aperture, Sapphire protection lens, OIS and 4K video recording.
The Nubia Z17 Mini price starts at 1699 Yuan (US$ 246) for Standard variant with 4GB RAM. The high end version of Nubia Z17 Mini with 6GB RAM is priced at 1999 Yuan (US$ 289). The handset comes in Black, Gold and Red color options. It will go on sale in China from April 12th, 2017.
