ZTE had unveiled Nubia Z18 earlier this month. Recently, rumors surfaced which hinted that Nubia Z18S smartphone is in works with dual displays. Now, this is further validated with a new TENAA certification.
A phone bearing model number Nubia NX616J has been certified by TENAA, a compulsory Chinese certification authority. The handset is believed to be Nubia Z18s.
According to TENAA, the cell phone measures 154.1 x 73.3 x 8.65 mm and has weight of 178 grams. It will have a fingerprint sensor (probably side mounted) as there is no room at the back.
As rumors hinted, the mobile packs in 6.26-inch internal display with 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution. There is an external 5.1-inch OLED display with with 1520 x 720 pixels resolution.
The Nubia Z18S NX616J is powered by 2.65GHz octa-core processor (Snapdragon 845 SoC) and comes with 6GB / 8GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB internal storage space. The storage is non expandable.
The handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS and is powered by a decent 3800 mAh battery with fast charging. The device is listed with two cameras, a 16MP front camera for selfies and 24MP rear shooter at the back. However, an alleged video of Nubia Z18s hinted dual rear camera setup.
The Nubia Z18s (NX616J) will come in Black and Gold colors. The handset is expected to go official soon as it is already certified by TENAA.
