Nubia Z30 Pro with SD888, 120W fast charging unveiled

ZTE’s Nubia brand has just unveiled its latest Nubia Z30 Pro smartphone in China. It is basically a version of ZTE AXON 30 Ultra, but with a smaller battery with 120W fast charging support and slightly different dimensions.

The Nubia Z30 Pro has dimensions of 161.83 x 73.01 x 8.5 mm and weighs about 195 grams. It has 6.67-inch flexible curved AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. It has 144Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit color depth and delivers 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. Its screen also supports DC dimming and boasts 93.45% screen-to-body ratio.

The Nubia Z30 Pro feature an octa-core Snapdragon 888 mobile platform with Adreno 660 GPU and comes with 8GB/12GB RAM (LPDDR5) and 256GB/512GB storage space (UFS 3.1). The performance is further enhanced by its cooling system which consists of 5-layer micron Graphene and VC liquid-cooled soaking plate.

The biometrics on this mobile is handled by an optical in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone runs on Android 11 based Nubia UI 9.0. It has a 4200mAh battery with 120W fast charging. It can go from 0 to 100% in just 15 minutes.

The Nubia Z30 Pro has support for 5G SA/NSA / Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band, Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, Type-C Audio and GPS/GLONASS/Bediou. It has dual stereo speakers inside and supports DTS:X Ultra.

Other specifications of Nubia Z30 Pro include 16MP front camera along with Triple rear shooters. These include 64MP (main, Sony IMX686, OIS, F/1.6) + 64MP (ultra-wide, Samsung GW3, F/2.2) + 8MP (Periscope Telephoto, 5x optical, 10x hybrid, 60x digital) + Laser focus sensor.

The Nubia Z30 Pro 8GB/256GB model is priced at 4999 Yuan ($776) while its 12GB/256GB variant costs 5399 Yuan ($838). The premium 12GB/512GB version of Nubia Z30 Pro has price tag of 5999 Yuan ($932). It comes in Vast Black, Interstellar Silver and Black Gold Legend colors. The smartphone will go on sale in China from May 25th.
