Lenovo has officially launched its all new ThinkPhone. It is a rugged device made by Motorola and gets aesthetics from Lenovo’s ThinkPad laptops.

Not just the looks, the ThinkPhone seamlessly integrates with Lenovo‘s ThinkPad laptops (including Think 2 Think connectivity) and easily allows you to sync the phone with ThinkPad to transfer files, copied text, photos, documents etc.

The Lenovo ThinkPhone is offered in Carbon Black color and comes a special red key on left side. This key is customizable for added accessibility. Notably, it can be used to access Walkie Talkie app via Microsoft Teams or open a business or a field app.

The ThinkPhone’s frame is crafted using aircraft-grade aluminum while is rear panel is made using lightweight aramid fiber. The smartphone is IP68 rated for water and dust resistances and complies with MIL-STD-810H grade durability. It can easily survive drops of up to 1.25 meters or tackle water depths of up to 1.5meters for 30 minutes.

The ThinkPhone specs include 6.6-inch OLED display that offers 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and 144Hz refresh rate. It has support for HDR10+ as well. Powering inside is an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 mobile platform with Adreno 730 GPU.

The smartphone is offered in 8Gb/12GB RAM LPDDR5 RAM options and has 128GB/256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage variants. The Lenovo ThinkPhone by Motorola comes with a 5000mAh battery and supports 68W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

The cell phone packs in a 32MP front facing selfie camera with Auto Focus function. At the back includes 13MP (main, F/1.8 Aperture, 4-in-1 super pixel binning for 2.0um pixel size, OIS, PDAF) along with 13MP (ultra-wide, Macro Vision, F/2.2 Aperture) lenses at back.

The Think Phone comes pre-installed with Microsoft 365, Outlook and Teams Apps. Lenovo has also included Moto keySafe processor for added security. Additionally, it supports Moto OEMConfig or Moto Device Manager which allows IT admins to remotely configure Lenovo ThinkPhone for business clients.

Connectivity options like 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5Ghz), Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou are supported.

The Lenovo ThinkPhone by Motorola will be released in coming months and will land in US, Europe, Latin America, Middle East, Australia and select Asian markets. [source]
