OnePlus has launched its latest smartphone called the OnePlus 3. Company has launched the phone globally at its VR event. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based Oxygen OS 3.0.2.
The phone has uni-body metal design and is made using anodized metal. It has fingerprint sensor embedded on home button that unlocks the smartphone is just 0.3 seconds.
It measures in at 152.7 x 74.7 x 7.35 mm and weighs 158 grams. It has 0.75mm slim bezels and sports 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED display. The screen has 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and comes with 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.
The OnePlus 3 specs include 2.15GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 (64-bit) processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and sports 64GB internal storage memory.
The mobile is equipped with 16MP primary snapper on the back with F/2.0 aperture, Sony IMX298 sensor, 1.12μm pixel size, LED Flash, PDAF, OIS and supports 4K (30Fps), 1080p (60Fps) and 720p (120Fps) video recording. On the front is a powerful 8MP secondary camera which includes Sony IMX179 sensor, 1.4μm pixel size, F/2.0 aperture and supports 1080p video capture.
The phone features in a 3000 mAh battery and makes use of new Dash Charging technology. It can charge up to 60% in 30 minutes using its 5V-4A charger. It also has bottom facing speakers and dual microphone for noise cancellation.
The mobile houses Dual nano SIM slots and supports 4G LTE with VoLTE. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (MIMO), Bluetooth V4.2, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack etc.

OnePlus 3 will go on sale in Europe and USA from OnePlus.net starting today itself (June 14, 2016). It will sell in India exclusively on Amazon.in from 12.30 AM IST on June 15, 2016. It comes in soft gold and graphite colour options.
