After announcing OnePlus 5 coupled of days back, OnePlus has launched OP5 smartphone in India.
At thickness of 7.25mm, it is the slimmest smartphone from company till date. It has Anodized Aluminum uni-body metal design with antenna lines at the edges.
It has Dual Nano SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE in India. A ceramic fingerprint sensor (unlocks in 0.2 sec) sits under home button. Sadly, there is no water resistance properties in the phone, which could be let down.
It has 3300 mAh non-removable battery and comes with Dash Charge (5V 4A) fast charging support. It is said to provide 20% better battery backup than OnePlus 3T.
The OnePlus 5 Specifications also include octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform SoC with Adreno 540 GPU. It has 6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM options with 64/128GB UFS 2.1 (2-Lane) storage space.
The smartphone is equipped with 16MP front facing fixed focus camera with F/2.0 Aperture, 1.0μm pixel size and Sony IMX371 sensor, EIS and 1080p video recording support.
The OnePlus 5 features in 3-microphones for noise cancellation. It has a single bottom facing speaker and supports AANC, Dirac HD Sound and Dirac Power Sound. It has 3.5mm Audio Jack as well.
Connectivity wise, it supports 2X2 MIMO, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 2.4/5GHz Dual Band, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0 Apt-X / Apt-X HD, NFC, GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou etc.
