OnePlus 5 with Snapdraogn 835, 6GB/8GB RAM, Dual Cameras unveiled

OnePlus has just launched its latest flagship smartphone in US called OnePlus 5. It has ceramic fingerprint sensor that unlocks smartphone in just 0.2 seconds.
The mobile measures 152.7 x 74.7 x 7.25mm and weighs about 153 grams. It is also one of the slimmest OnePlus smartphone till date  It has continuous hear edges with horizon lines at the sides.
It is made from Anodized Aluminum and sports unibody metal design. The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based Oxygen OS.
It has 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The screen offers DCI-P3 colors, has 16:9 aspect ratio, 401ppi pixel density and supports multi-touch as well.
There is 2.5D corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection as well. Some of the Display features include Reading Mode, Night Mode, Lift Up Display and Ambient Display.
The OnePlus 5 specs include octa-core (up to 2.45GHz) Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 10nm processor with Adreno 540 GPU. It has 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM options coupled with 64GB / 128GB (UFS 2.1 2-LANE) internal memory.
The mobile is equipped with dual cameras, consisting of 20MP (Wide-Angle lens, Sony IMX398 sensor, 1.12 µm pixel size, EIS, F/1.7 Aperture, DCAF) + 16MP (Telephoto Lens, Sony IMX350 Sensor, F/2.6 Aperture, 1.0µm Pixel Size, PDAF).
Both of these cameras combine to offer Fast Auto Focus, Smart capture, Dynamic Denoise, Raw Image, HDR, HQ, Panorama etc. They can record 4K videos at 30fps, 1080p at 30/60fps, 720p at 30fps, Slow Motion 720p videos at 120 fps and Time Lapse. There is Dual LED flash as well
On the front side is powerful 16MP selfie camera, equipped with Sony IMX371 sensor, 1µm pixel size, EIS, F/2.0 Aperture and has Fixed Focus. Front camera can record 1080p videos at 30 fps, 720p videos at 30 fps, Time-Lapse and has screen flash as well.
Connectivity wise, it supports 4G VoLTE (via Dual Nano SIM slots) (Cat12/3CA speeds.), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz) 2X2 MIMO, Bluetooth V5.0, USB 2.0 Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou, NFC3.5mm Audio jack etc. It has 3300 mAh non-removable battery inside and supports Dash Charging as well.
It also supports USB Audio, Dirac HD Sound, Dirac Power Sound, AANC. It has Bottom facing speakers and 3 microphones for noise cancellation. There are array of sensor like Hall, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity, RGB Ambient light sensor, E-Compass and Sensor Hub.
The OnePlus 5 price starts at $479 / €499 for 6GB RAM / 64GB ROM variant and $539 / €559 for 8GB RAM model. It comes in Midnight Black and Slate Gray color options. Pre-orders have commenced at OnePlus.net for U.S. and Europe. Early Drop shipments begin from June 21 while its general sales start from June 27th.
The OnePlus 5 will launch in India on June 22 and will be available on the same day exclusively at Amazon.in.
