OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition announced, has 10GB RAM, super fast Warp charge

OnePlus has officially unveiled its latest OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition smartphone at t an event in UK.
It has premium looking Black color package with orange back which has the text “Salute to Speed”. Apart from the handset, in-the box includes a booklet which notes history of both companies. It has Papaya Orange color braided cord cable and warp charger with McLaren’s logo.
The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition phone has has Papaya orange finishing around the bottom edge and ffades into black. It has McLarens groundbreaking carbon fiber pattern underneath the glass. At the lower back side is McLaren logo.
Main highlight of smartphone is its 10GB LPDDR4X RAM. It handset also supports 30 watt Warp Charge 30, which is OnePlus new charging technology. Company claims it to charge phone up to 50% in just 20 minutes which offers a days worth of usage. Company has also fine tuned power management software. It has 3700 mAh battery.
OnePlus-6T-McLaren-Edition-photo-2The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition comes with 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 100.63% sRGB, DCI-P3 color gamut, 600nits brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
Under the hood is 2.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU. It has 25GB UFS 2.1 storage space and comes pre-installed with Android 9.0 Pie based OxygenOS 9.0. It has dual SIM connectivity and supports 4G VoLTE.
It has 16MP front camera with Sony IMX371 sensor and F/2.0 Aperture and 1.0μm pixel size. At the back side is 16MP (F/1.7, 1/2.6″ Sony IMX519 sensor, OIS, EIS, 1.22um pixels) + 20MP (Sony IMX376K sensor, F/1.7 aperture, 1.0um pixels) and dual LED Flash.
TheOnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is water resistant (not fully) and comes with in-dislpay fingerprint sensor. It has Bottom facing speaker, Dirac HD sound and USB Type-C audio. Usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS and USB-Type C are supported
The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition costs £649 (US$ 819 / Rs. 58,855 approx.) / €699 (US$ 791 / Rs. 57,220 approx.) / $699 (Rs. 50,500 approx.) and will be available in Western Europe and North America from December 13. The company said that it will soon be available in India, China and the Nordics soon. We should know the price in India when it launches tomorrow.
Update: The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition has been officially launched in India. It has 10GB RAM and 256GB storage and carries price-tag of Rs. 50,999. The handset will be available exclusively at Amazon.in and OnePlus india store starting December 13th (today).
