OnePlus expands its OnePlus 9 Series lineup with a new smartphone called OnePlus 9RT 5G. It comes in Black, Blue and Silver colors. The handset will go on sale in Chinese markets from October 19th and is already up for order.
OnePlus 9RT 5G specifications and features
The 9RT is dual SIM smartphone. Its Nano SIM slots support 5G (SA/NSA) and dual 4G VoLTE. It runs on Android 11 based ColorOS for Chinese markets.
The cell phone measures 162.2 x 74.6 x 8.29 mm and weighs just about 198.5 grams. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics. OnePlus has equipped 9RT with dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
The OnePlus 9RT 5G specs include 6.62-inch Fluid AMOLED display offering 120Hz refresh rate, 600Hz touch sampling rate and HDR10+ support. Its screen offers 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio, 397ppi pixel density, sRGB and DCI P3 colors. It delivers up to 1300nits peak brightness with 10240-level brightness adjustment. The cell phone’s display has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection for added scratch resistance.
Powering inside is octa-core Snapdragon 888 mobile platform with Adreno 660 GPU. It ha options of 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It offers 7GB virtual RAM for enhanced performance. The handset houses 19067.44 mm² space cooling system for optimum thermals.
The OnePlus 9RT feature GPA frame stabilization technology that intelligently allocates needed resources for scheduling games and achieving stable frame rate. It leverages UI First + IO pre-loading for quickly launching apps.
In terms of optics, 9RT from OnePlus comes with 16MP front facing camera with 1/1.43-inch Sony IMX471 sensor, F/2.4 Aperture and supports EIS. At the back side are triple cameras with dual LED Flash. It includes a primary 50MP main camera with Sony IMX766 sensor, F/1.88 Aperture, 1um pixel size and OIS support. There is a secondary 16MP 123-degree ultra-wide angle lens with EIS and F/2.25 Aperture. Third camera is a 2MP macro lens with 4cm focus shots. The cell phone supports 4K video recording at 60fps, 1080p/720p slow motion at 240/480fps.
The OnePlus 9RT houses 4500mAh (dual 2250mAh) battery and supports 65W Warp Charge fast charging. It can go from 0 to 100% in just 29 minutes. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz) 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth V5.2, dual band GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo, NFC and USB Type-C with Type-C audio.
