OnePlus has officially introduced its new smartwatch called OnePlus Watch. It has round-dial with arc-shaped borders and 46mm stainless steel casing.
Company has also unveiled OnePlus Watch Cobalt Limited Edition which is crafted from cobalt ally. It is twice as hard and more corrosion-resistant than stainless steel. Its watch face uses specially-treated sapphire glass (MOHS rating of 9) for scratch resistance and optimum brightness. The OnePlus Watch Cobalt Edition comes with Vegan Leather strap, butterfly buckle and an additional option of Fluoroelastomer strap.
The OnePlus Watch itself has dimensions of 46.4 x 46 .4 x 10.9 mm. The classic variant weighs 45 grams (without strap) / 76 grams (with strap). The Cobalt Limited Edition has weight of 45 grams (without strap) / 67 grams (with strap).
The OnePlus Watch feature 5ATM and IP68 water and dust resistant rating, which makes it perfect for use in rain showers, swimming or during GYM workouts. The smartwatch is powered by company proprietary OS which is based on RTOS. The wearable is compatible with Android 6.0 smartphones and above (no iOS support).
The OnePlus Watch specs include 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454 x 454 pixels resolution, 326ppi pixel density and scratch resistant sapphire glass on top. The right side houses two buttons for tactile control.
The smartwatch comes bundled with 4GB storage space for standalone music playback. It uses Bluetooth V5.0 LE for seamless connectivity with mobiles. It has array of sensors like Acceleration, Gyroscope, Ambient light, Air Pressure, Capacitance, Geomagnetic, Optical Heart rate and Blood Oxygen sensors.
The OnePlus Watch allows tracking of heart beats and check bloods oxygen levels thanks to its bundled sensors. It has support for more than 110+ workout modes and allows automatic workout detection.
The wearable has built-in microphone and speaker to easily manage or attend calls. Its display can show health metrics like pulse rate, calories, speed monitoring, distance and SWOLF efficiency for swimmers. There is GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/Beidou support for keeping tabs on positioning and routes.
The OnePlus Watch is powered by 402mAH battery which gives about 14 days of typical usage. You can get about 5 days of sleep / blood oxygen monitoring, 24 hours of continuous exercise with GPS. Its fast charging gives about about 7 days use with 20 minutes charging.
The OnePlus Watch Classic Edition price is Rs. 14,999 (launch price) and comes in Midnight Black and Moonlight Silver colors. The price will increase to Rs. 16,999 after the initial offer ends. You can buy OnePlus Watch at Amazon and offline stores in April.
