Oppo has officially launched its new A Series smartphone in India called Oppo A16K (Model: CPH2349). It was first introduced in Philippines back in November 2021.
Oppo A16K specifications and features
Starting with dimensions, the mobile measures 164 x 75.4 x 7.85 mm and weighs 175 grams. It has dual Nano SIM slots that support dual 4G VoLTE. The smartphone houses a side mounted fingerprint sensor and supports face unlocking.
The Oppo A16K specs include 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with 89.27% screen-to-body ratio. It offers1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, 60Hz touch sampling rate, 269ppi pixel density, 71% (typ) NTSC color gamut, 1500:1 (typ) contrast ratio and 480nits (typ) brightness. Its screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Coming to the internals, A16K houses an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor with 680MHz IMG GE8320 GPU. It has 3GB/4GB LPDDR4X (1600MHz 2x16bit) RAM and 32GB/64GB eMMC 5.1 built-in storage space. The cellphone brings support for MicroSD card support up to 256GB. It comes pre-installed with Android 11 based ColorOS 11.1 Lite.
For optics, the Oppo A16K feature a single 13MP main camera (placed inside dual camera module) with 1/3.06-inch sensor, F/2.2 Aperture, 1.12um pixel size, 80-degree FOV, 5P lens and PDAF support. At the front side is a 5MP selfie camera with 76-degree FOV, 3P lens and F/2.4 Aperture.
The smartphone houses a 4100mAh (min) / 4230mAh (typ) battery and supports 10W charging. For connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB 2.0, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo and 3.5mm audio jack.
It comes with range of sensors like Geomagnetic, Light, Proximity, Acceleromter and Gravity sensors.
Price and availability
The OPPO A16K 3GB/32GB variant is priced at Rs. 10,490. It comes in black, white and blue colors. It will go on sale in India today via online / offline channels. Oppo is offering no-cost EMI up to 3 months across all leading banks.
