OPPO’s Malaysia wing has launched a new A Series smartphone called Oppo A17. It comes in Midnight Black and Lake Blue colors and is priced at RM 599 ($130 / Rs. 10,630 approx.)

It is a dual SIM cell phone with dual 4G VoLTE support. The device measures 164.2 x 75.6 x 8.3 mm and weighs about 189 grams. The handset sports an IPX4 water resistant rating.
The Oppo A17 specs include 6.56-inch LCD display with 1612 x 720 pixels resolution, 100% DCI-P3 colors and 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood is an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 (MT6765) processor with IMG GE8320 GPU (up to 680MHz).
The A17 smartphone is offered with 4GB RAM and supports additional 4G virtual RAM. There is 64GB built-in storage space which is further expandable up to 1TB using MicroSD card.
For optics, a 5MP camera is placed at the front with F/2.2 Aperture, 76.8-degree FOV and and 3P Lens (AF not supported). At the back side are dual cameras which include 50MP main AI sensor with F/1.8 Aperture. 77-degree FOV, 5P Lens and Auto Focus support (open-loop focus motor). There is a second 2MP depth sensor with F/2.8 Aperture, 60-degree FOV and 2P lens.
The Oppo A17 feature in 4890mAh (min) / 5000mAh (typical) battery. Connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and MicroUSB V2.0 are supported.
