Oppo has announced a new 5G mid range smartphone in China called OPPO A56s 5G (PFTM20). It comes in Night Black and Dark Blue colors.

It is a 5G mobile with dual Nano SIM slots and supports dual 4G VoLTE as well. It is powered by Android 12 based ColorOS 12.
The A56s measures 163.8 x 75.1 x 7.99 mm and weighs about 186 grams. It comes with a side mounted fingerprint sensor and supports face recognition as well.
The smartphone packs a 6.56-inch LCD display that offers 1612 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 colors and 4096 levels of brightness.
The Oppo A56s specs include octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor with ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and supports additional 5G virtual RAM. There is 128GB/256GB built-in memory which is further expandable up to 256GB with MicroSD card.
The cell phone houses an 8MP front facing camera for selfies and video calling. At the back side is a combo of 13MP main (AF) and 2MP depth (F/2.4) cameras along with LED Flash.
It has a 5000mAh battery inside that should last for at least a day. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou.
