A new Oppo A Series 5G smartphone is official in China. The smartphone is dubbed at A57 5G (Model: PFTM20). It is offered in Lilac, Night Black and Deep Sea Blue colors.

It is dual SIM cell phone with measurements of 163.7 x 75.1 x 7.99 mm. It has weight of about 186 grams. It has slim design and boasts surrounding stereo dual speakers.
The Oppo A57 5G specs include 6.56-inch LCD display that gives 1612 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 90Hz touch sampling rate, 96% NTSC / 100% DCI-P3 (both in VIVID mode) and 73% NTSC / 100% sRGB (Both in Natural mode) colors. Under the hood is octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 (MT6833P) processor with Mali-G57 MC2 (950MHz) GPU. The handset has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB UFS 2.2 storage and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. It does allow further expansion using microSD card.
The Oppo A57 5G features in an 8MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture, 79° FOV and 5P lens. At the back side are dual cameras consisting of 13MP (main, F/2.2 Aperture, 81° FOV, 5P lens, Auto Focus, 1080p) and 2MP (portrait, 89° FOV, F/2.4 Aperture, 3P lens0.
The smartphone houses a 4890mAH (min) / 5000mAh (typ) battery and allows 10W charging. It has fingerprint sensor at side and supports WeChat payment, AliPay etc. Face unlocking is support as well. There are range of sensors like Ambient Light, Proximity, Geomagnetic, Acceleration, Gravity and step counter.
Connectivity options include 5G (SA/nSA), Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 8021.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack. The mobile runs on Android 12 based ColorOS V12.1.
Oppo A57 5G price and availability
The 8GB/128GB model is priced at 1499 Yuan ($235 / Rs. 17,920 approx.) and already up for order in China. It will go on sale from April 15th.
