Chinese phone maker Oppo has announced its latest smartphone under A Series called the A59. It has full metal uni-body design with dimensions of 154 x 76 x 7.8 mm and weighs 160 grams. The phone also comes with Fingerprint sensor for security.
The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and sports a 5.5-Inch IPS display with 2.5D curved glass. The screen has 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio and supports multi-touch.
The Oppo A59 Specs include 1.5GHz Octa Core MediaTek MT6750 (64-Bit) processor with Mali-T860 GPU. It has 3GB RAM for smooth performance and comes with 32GB on-board storage space, further expandable up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
The mobile features a 13MP primary camera on the back with F/2.0 Aperture, LED Flash and PDAF. On the front is 8MP secondary camera for selfies and is equipped with 1.4 micron pixels and F/2.2 Aperture. It has 3075 mAh battery inside.
The phone houses hybrid Dual SIM slots (nano + nano / MicroSD) and supports 4G LTE with VoLTE. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, USB OTG, GPS, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
The Oppo A59 is priced at 1799 Yuan (US$ 274 / €242) and comes in Gold and Rose Gold colour options. It is up for pre-order from Oppo Online shop in China and will start shipping from June 18, 2016.
