Oppo A59s with 4GB RAM, 16MP front camera launched

Oppo has launched its latest smartphone called Oppo A59s. The handset was already spotted at TENAA earlier. It is successor to A59 smartphone that launched back in June.
The smartphone packs in 5.5-Inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. the screen has 267ppi pixel density and supports multi-touch as well. Under the hood is 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor, coupled with Mali-T860 GPU.
Unlike its predecessor, the Oppo A59s specs include 4GB RAM, 32GB built-in storage ROM, further expandable up to 128GB using MicroSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based ColorOS 3.0.
Aimed at selfie lovers, company has managed to include a 16MP camera unit on the front with 5P lens and F/2.0 Aperture.  On the back side is 13MP primary camera with F/2.2 Aperture, PDAF and LED flash.

The mobile measures 154.5 x 76 x 7.3 mm and weighs 160 grams. It has 3075 mAh (2980 mAh minimum) battery that is said to offer up to 28 hours of talk time and 281 hours of standby. It also supports VOOC Flash charging technology for fast charging.
The Oppo A59s features a fingerprint sensor embedded inside home button (physical). It is fast enough to unlock phone I just 0.22 seconds. Moreover, it supports payments made through AliPay and WeChat. Connectivity wise, it has 4G VoLTE (via Dual SIM slots), Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.1, GPS/A-GPS, MicroUSB V2.0 etc.
The Oppo A59s is priced at 1999 Yuan ($298)and comes in Gold and Rose gold colour options.
