OPPO has officially unveiled its latest A Series 5G smartphone in Thailand called OPPO A77 5G. The handset bears model number CPH2339.

The smartphone comes in dimensions of 163.8 x 75.1 x 7.99 mm and has weight of about 190 grams. It comes with fingerprint recognition and face recognition support for biometrics. The mobile boasts an IPX4 water-resistant rating as well.
The handset includes array of sensors like Magnetic field sensor, optical proximity sensor, ambient light, accelerometer, gravity sensor and pedometer. You get ultra-linear dual stereo speakers with ultra-volume for loud audio.
The OPPO A77 5G offers dual SIM connectivity using Nano SIM cards and supports several 5G bands like n77/78/38/40/41/1/3/5/7/8/20/28. It runs on Android 12 based ColorOS 12.1 out of the box.
The A77 5G feature a 6.56-inch LCD display that gives 1612 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution, 60Hz/90Hz refresh rate options, 90Hz touch sampling rate, 96.66% NTSC / 100% DCI-P3 colors (VIVID mode) and 73.51% NTSC / 100% SRGB (Natural mode). The screen has 269ppi pixel density, 480nits (typ) / 600nits (HBM) brightness and 89.8% screen-to-body ratio.
The cell phone features in an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU (950MHz). It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM (at 2133MHz 4x 16bit) with RAM expansion tech allowing 5GB additional RAM. The device includes 128GB UFS 2.2 (at 2-lane HS-Gear3) storage. It has MicroSD card support for further storage expansion.
Other specifications of OPPO A77 5G include dual rear cameras with LED Flash. These include 48MP (main, f/1.7, FOV 80°, 6P lens, AF) + 2MP (depth, f/2.4, FOV 89°, 3P lens, FF) cameras. For selfies, an 8MP (F/2.0, FOV 79°, 5P lens) is present.
The A77 5G includes a 4880mAH (min) / 5000mAh (typ) battery capacity and supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. The handset can charge up to 53% in just 30 minutes and 100% in about 69 minutes.
For connectivity, there is support for Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot (2.4/5.1/5.8GHz), Bluetooth V5.3, USB Type-C, NFC, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo/QZSS and 3.5mm audio jack.
OPPO A77 5G price and availability
The A77 5G is priced at THB 9,999 ($290 / €270 / Rs. 22,600 approx.) and comes in Midnight Black and Ocean Blue colors. It will go on sale in Thailand from June 10th. There is no word on its release in other markets yet.
