OPPO expands its A series lineup in Malaysia with the announce of OPPO A78 5G (CPH2483) smartphone. The device shares similarities with OPPO A58 5G that went official back in November.
The Oppo A78 5G is a dual SIM mobile phone powered by ColorOS 13 (based on Android 13). It has side mounted fingerprint sensor and sports a IPX4 dust / water resistance. The device itself is 7.99mm thick and houses a 5000mAh battery inside. Notably, 33W fast charging is supported.
Specifications of new OPPO A78 5G include 6.56-inch LCD display with 1612 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution. It delivers 100% DCI-P3 colors, 60Hz / 90Hz refresh rate options and 600nits peak (typical) brightness in sunlight. The device comes with either Panda Glass or Caihong glass protection.
Powering inside this 5G mobile is an octa-core Dimensity 700 processor which is paired with 8GB RAM. It has 128GB storage space which is again expandable with MicroSD card.
The Oppo A78 5G feature in an 8MP fixed focus front camera for selfies and video calling. At the back side is a combination of 50MP main and 2MP black & white lens along with LED Flash.
