Oppo has just launched its latest K Series smartphone in China called Oppo K1. Aesthetically, it is similar to Oppo R17 and R17 Pro with its dual cameras placed at the top-left corner at the back.
The Oppo K1 has dimensions of 158.3 x 75.5 x 7.4 mm and has weight of 156 grams. The handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Color OS 5.2. It has in-display fingerprint sensor and leverages light screen fingerprint technology for fast unlocking. Secure payments are also supported.
The smartphone packs in a large 6.4-inch multi-touch AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and boasts 91% screen-to-body ratio. Additionally, there is Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top for added scratch resistance.
The Oppo K1 specs include octa-core Snapdragon 660 AIE 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 512GPU. The smartphone will be offers in options of 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB internal memory.
It has 16MP and 2MP dual camera setup at the back with dual-tone LED Flash and 4K video recording support. It has AI capabilities and can recognize 120 different scenes to enhance image quality. For selfies, a 25MP shooter is placed at the front with AI Beauty.
There is a 3500 mAh battery capacity. Usual connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack are supported as well.
The Oppo K1 price starts at 1599 Yuan (US$ / Rs. ) for 4GB RAM model and goes up to 1799 Yuan (US$ / Rs. ) for 6GB RAM variant. The handset comes in Brahma Blue Star and Red Mocha colors. The mobile will go on sale in China from October 19th and is already up for pre-order.
