Oppo K3 goes official in China

The OPPO K3, company’s latest smartphone is now official in China. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Color OS 6.0 on top.

The handset comes with Dual SIM support and packs in a light sensitive in-display fingerprint sensor. It has 6.5-inch Suepr AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels Full HD+ resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 91.1% screen-to-body ratio.

The Oppo K3 specifications include octa-core (2.2GHz Kryo 360 x 2 + 1.7GHz Kryo 360 x 6) Snapdragon 710 processor with Adreno 616 GPU. It also includes Game Boost 2.0, Frame Boost and Touch Boost for enhanced gaming experience.

The smartphone comes in options of 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB UFS 2.1 storage and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB / 256GB UFS 2.1 storage space. There is a 3765 mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support.

The Oppo K3 features Network Boost acceleration for optimum network performance. It supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-FI 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS + GLONASS and 3.5mm Audio Jack.

In terms of optics, it has 16MP (1/2.8″ sensor, F/1.8, 1.12um, PDAF) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) dual rear cameras with LED Flash. It has motorized pop-up selfie camera module which houses 16MP shooter with F/2.0 aperture. It pops up in just 0.74 seconds

The Oppo K3 6GB/64GB price is 1599 Yuan (US$ 231 / Rs. 16,100 approx.) while the 8GB/128GB model costs 1899 Yuan (US$ 275 / Rs. 19,110 approx.) There is a premium Oppo K3 8GB/256GB variant which costs 2299 Yuan (US$ 332 / Rs. 23,160 approx.). It comes in Uncharted Black, Morning White and Nebula Purple colors. It will go on sale from June 1st in China. Premium variant will be available later in June.
