Oppo K5 with Snapdragon 730G, up to 8GB RAM, 4000mAh battery announced

The OPPO K5 is company’s newest quad-camera smartphone in China. It boots on Android Pie with ColorOS 6.0 and houses Dual SIM slots.

The smartphone features in 6.4-inch multi-touch OLED display with 91.9% screen-to-body ratio and FHD+ resolution. It does come with an in-display fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking and security.

The OPPO K5 specs include octa-core Snapdragon 730G SoC. It has Game Turbo 2.0, Touch Boost and Frame Boost for enhanced gaming. The chipset is paired with up to 8GB RAM and maximum of 256GB internal storage space. The mobile does support further expansion using MicroSD card.

The Oppo K5 sports four rear cameras consisting of 64MP (main) + 8MP (ultra-wide-angle) + 2MP (depth) + 2MP (macro) shooters. These support Auto Focus, AI scene recognition and EIS for video. For selfies, you get a 32MP front camera.

A 4000mAh battery is included which supports 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging. Company claims that this mobile charges up to 67% in just 30 minutes.

Oppo K5 Specifications

The Oppo K5 6GB/128GB price is 1899 Yuan (US$ 267 / Rs. 18,970 approx.) while the K5 8GB/256GB model costs 2099 Yuan (US$ 295 / Rs. 20,970 approx.). The Premium 8GB/25GB variant of K5 has price tag of 2499 Yuan (US$ 350 / Rs. 24,960 approx.). The handset comes in White, Blue and Green colors and will go on sale in China from October 17th.
