OPPO R17 fully unveiled – Specs, Price, Availability

The OPPO R17 smartphone got listed at company’s official site last week. Today company has confirmed its pricing and availability details.
The Oppo R17 price is set at 3499 Yuan (US$ 510 / Rs. 35,600 approx.) and is already up for pre-order at Oppo website, JD.com, Lynx and Suning. It will go on sale in China from August 30th. The cell phone comes in Starry Purple and Twilight Blue colors.
The phone specs include 6.4-inch multi-touch AMOLED display with 2280 x 1080 pixels  resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The mobile boasts an impressive 91.5% screen-to-body ratio.
Inside is an octa-core (2GHz Kryo 360 performance x 2 + 1.7GHz Kryo 360 efficiency x 6) Snapdragon 670 Mobile Platform (10nm) with Adreno 615 GPU. It has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage space which is non expandable.
Other specifications of Oppo R17 include 25MP front camera camera with AI, Sony IMX576 sensor, F/2.0 Aperture and 3D Portrait support. At the back side is 16MP (F/1.8 Aperture) + 5MP dual rear cameras with LED Flash.
The mobile has dimensions of 157.5 x 74.9 x 7.5 mm and weighs 182 grams. It has 3500 mAh battery with 5V/4A VOOC Flash charging support. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for quick unlocking.
The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Color OS 5.2 on top. It has dual SIM slots and supports Dual 4G VoLTE. Connectivity wise, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C etc.
At  the ending note, Oppo has already scheduled at Shanghai on August 23rd where it will unveil OPPO R17 Pro smartphone with F/1.5 – 2.4 variable aperture.
