Oppo R17 listed with 6.4-inch AMOLED FHD+ display, SD670, 3500mAh battery with VOOC fast charging

Oppo expands its R Series line up with its latest handset called OPPO R17. The mobile is listed on company’s official site and packs in rather impressive specifications.
The cell phone features in 6.4-inch AMOLED Display with 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and comes with a small notch. It supports multi-touch and boasts an impressive 91.5% screen-to-body ratio. There is an under-display fingerprint sensor (4sq. mm big and comes with 3P micro lens) for fast unlocking.
The Oppo R17 specs include octa-core Snapdragon 670 Mobile Platform with Adreno 615 GPU. It has whooping 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage space. It comes pre-installed with ColorOS 5.2 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo OS.
At the front notch is a 25MP selfie camera with F/2.0 Aperture, Sony IMX576 sensor and AI beauty. At the back side is a 16MP primary rear camera with LED Flash along with a secondary shooter (unknown Mega Pixels). It will have AI scene recognition (800 scenes).
The Oppo R17 features in 3500 mAh battery, which is slightly better than its predecessor, the R15. The battery also supports VOOC Fast charging which can just about 58% in just 30 minutes of charging.
Usual connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm Audio jack will be supported.
The Oppo R17 comes in Neon Purple and Stream Blue Colors (translated names) colors with different color shades (Blue/Gree/Aqua) visible from different angles according to lighting conditions. The device is listed with dummy price of 99,999 Yuan (US$ 14,500). It is expected to officially launch in China on August 18th.
