The Oppo R9s smartphone is finally available in Australia. It comes in White and Black color options.
The phone packs in 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 1080p resolution. It has 73.4% screen-to-body ratio, 401ppi pixel density and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The Oppo R9s specs include 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 4GB RAM, 64GB storage ROM and allows further expansion up to 256GB.
The smartphone is equipped with 16MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture. On the back side is 16MP camera unit as well with 1/2.8″ sensor size, 1.12µm pixel size, PDAF, HDR and 2160p video recording capabilities.
The battery inside is of 3010 mAh Li-Po and is non removable. It also supports VooC Fast charging as well. The handset measures 153 x 74.3 x 6.6 mm and weighs 145 grams. The cellphone also houses front mounted fingerprint sensor.
Connectivity wise, the handset supports 4G LTE, Wi-fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band, Bluetooth V4.0 A2DP, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS/A-GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The Oppo R9s is available in Australia for AUD 600 (converts to US$ 450). It is available from JB Hi-Fi, Woolworths Mobile, Optus, Virgin Mobile and Vodafone.
