Oppo along with R9s has just announced R9s Plus smartphone. The smartphone was also spotted at AnTuTu few days back.
It handset has 1.78mm narrow bezels and sports uni-body metal design. It has dimensions of 163.63 x 80.8 x 7.35 mm and weighs 185 grams. It has fingerprint sensor embedded on home button.
The Oppo R9s Plus specs include 6-Inch 2.5D curved glass display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It has 79% screen-to-body ratio and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Unlike its smaller variant, this model is powered by Octa-Core (1.95GHz Cortex A72 x 4 + 1.44GHz Cortex A53 x 4) Snapdragon 653 processor with Adreno 510 GPU.
It has 6GB RAM, 64GB storage ROM and allows further expansion up to 128GB. The MicroSD card fits into its Hybrid Dual SIM slots (Nano + Nano / MicroSD).
The handset runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with ColorOS 3.0. It has 16MP primary camera on the back with dual-tone LED Flash, F/1.7 Aperture, 6P Lens, OIS and records 4K videos as well. On the front side is secondary 16MP camera with 5P lens and F/2.0 Aperture.
The hardware is fueled by 4000mAh battery and allows VOOC Flash charging as well. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band, Bluetooth V4.1, GPS etc.
The Oppo R9s Plus is priced at 3499 Yuan (US$ 519). It comes in Black, Gold and Rose Gold color options and will be available in December 2016.
