Oppo will soon launch its Reno 2 Series later this month. Ahead of its announcement, OPPO Reno 2 smartphone with model numbers PCKM00 / PCKT00 have made its way at TENAA for certification.
The listing has not revealed photos of phone but has list all of its specifications. At par with earlier rumors, the Reno 2 features 6.5-inch multi-touch AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio. It should include Gorilla Glass 6 protection according to the rumors.
It has measurements of 160 x 74.3 x 9.5 mm and has weight of 189 grams. Also expect dual SIM support with Dual 4G VoLTE. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS with usual Color OS 6.0 on top.
The Oppo Reno 2 (PCKM00 / PCKT00) is listed with 2.2GHz octa-core processor which, again according to chatters is Snapdragon 730G Mobile Processor. The model comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB ROM, which is further expandable up to 256GB using MicroSD card.
The smartphone will pack in a Quad camera setup at the back along with LED Flash. It includes 48MP (Sony IMX586 sensor, F/1.7) + 13MP (5X Hybrid Zoom) + 8MP (Ultra-Wide-Angle) + 2MP (depth sensor) shooters. For selfies, it will include 16MP front shooter, which will be placed inside its unique shark-fin popup module.
The Reno 2 includes 3915 mAh (minimum) battery. The mobile does feature in an in-display fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking. Usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0 and GPS will be supported. Gravity, Distance and Light sensor are also present.
The Oppo Reno 2 (PCKM00 / PCKT00) will come in Black, Pink and Green colors. It is slated to go official on August 28th.
