Oppo Reno 7A with SD695 SoC launched in Japan

Oppo’s Japanese wing has launched a new Reno series smartphone called Reno 7A.

It is priced at 44,800 Yen ($335 / Rs. 26,260 approx.) and comes in Dream Blue and Starry Black colors. The handset is already up for sale in Japan via several carriers.

The phone comes with OPPO Glow design for Blue version and matte texture for Black color variant. The smartphone itself measures 159.7 x 73.4 x 7.6 mm and weighs 175 grams.

The Oppo Reno7 A is a dual SIM cell phone with support for 5G SA / NSA and dual 4G VoLTE. It has IPX8 / IP6X water and dust proof rating. The handset runs on Android 11 based ColorOS 12 and houses an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Reno 7A gives you a 6.4-inch screen, an AMOLED panel with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. It has 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 100% DCI-P3 colors, up to 600nits brightness and DT Star2 Glass protection on top.

Under the hood is an octa-core Snapdragon 695 mobile platform with Adreno 619L GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage space. It has dedicated microSD card slot for further expansion up to 1TB.

The Oppo Reno7 A specifications include 16MP front camera with F/2.4 Aperture. At the back side is a combination of 48MP (main, F/1.7) + 8MP (ultra-wide, F/2.2) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4) lenses along with LED Flash.

The smartphone houses a 4500mAh battery and supports 18W PD 2.0 fast charging. It can go from 0 to 40% in just about 30 minutes. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo/QZSS, NFC and 3.5mm audio jack.
