Oppo Reno 8 (PGBM10), Reno 8 Pro (PGAM10) and Reno 8 Pro+ (PFZM10) gets TENAA certification

Upcoming Reno 8 Series smartphones have finally received TENAA certification. The vanilla Oppo Reno 8 has been certified with model number PGBM10. The Reno 8 Pro bears model number PGAM10 while the Reno 8 Pro+ has PFZM10 model number.

The Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro will come in Black, Blue, Purple and Gold colors options. The Reno 8 Pro+ has Black, Grey and Blue colors. Official launch date is slated for May 23rd for Chinese markets. All of these are already up for pre-booking.

Oppo Reno 8 (PGBM10) specifications (according to TENAA)

For starters, it is a 5G smartphone with dual SIM support. It is powered by latest Android 12 OS and comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The cell phone measures 160 x 73.4 x 7.67 mm and weighs 179 grams. It has 6.43-inch AMOLED display offering 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio. It is more than likely to offer 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate.

Powering inside is a 3GHz octa-core processor which is MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC (recently seen in OnePlus Nord 2T). The Oppo Reno 8 (PGBM10) has 8GB / 12GB RAM options and 128GB / 256GB storage variants.

It has triple cameras at back consisting of 50MP main, 2MP depth and 2MP macro lenses. At the front side is a 32MP selfie camera. The smartphone has array of sensors like Gravity, Distance and Light.

The Oppo PGBM10 houses a dual cell 2200mAh (4400mAh min) battery capacity and supports fast charging (80W). Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C and GPS/GLONASS.

Oppo Reno 8 Pro (PGAM10) specifications (according to TENAA)

It is a tad bit larger smartphone with dimensions of 161.0 x 74.2 x 7.57 mm and has weight of 188 grams. It has dual SIM connectivity and supports 5G SA/NSA and dual 4G VoLTE.

The Oppo PGAM10 sports a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and 90 or 120Hz refresh rate. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics.

The Reno 8 Pro houses a 2.4GHz octa-core processor with 8GB/12GB RAM options and 128GB/256GB storage options. It is likely to run on latest Android 12 OS out of the box.

The Reno 8 Pro (PGAM10) houses 50MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro lenses at back with LED flash. Selfies are taken care by a 32MP front camera. A 2185mAh dual cell battery is include (4370mAh min) and supports fast charging.

Connectivity options are more or less same at Reno 8.

Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ (PFZM10) specifications (according to TENAA)

The handset measures 161.2 x 74.2 x 7.34 mm and weighs 183 grams. It has dual Nano SIM slots with 5G SA/NSA and dual 4G VoLTE. It runs on Android 12 based ColorOS 12.1.

The smartphone sports a larger 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with 2412 x 1080 pixels resolution and 120hz refresh rate. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security.

Powering inside is 2.85GHz octa-core processor which is MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX chipset. The Reno8 Pro+ 5G has 8Gb/12GB RAM options and 256GB/512GB storage models.

It comes with 50MP main, 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP (likely macro) lenses at back with LED Flash. Selfies are taken by a 32MP front camera.

The cell phone houses a 2185mAh dual cell battery which totals up to 4370mAH minimum capacity. Fast charging is supported as well. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6e 802.11ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C and GPS/GLONASS.
