Oppo has silently announced a new A Series smartphone in Philippines called Oppo A16K. It is priced at PHP 6999 ($140 / Rs. 10,310 approx.) and comes in Black and Blue colors.

The handset measures 164 x 75.4 x 7.85 mm and weighs about 175 grams. It offers dual SIM connectivity (Nano slots) and supports dual 4G VoLTE. The mobile runs on Android 11 based ColorOS 11.1 Lite.
The Oppo A16K specs include 6.52-inch IPS LCD display boasting 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, 60Hz touch sampling rate, 269ppi pixel density, 71% (typ) NTSC color gamut, 1500:1 (typ) contrast ratio and 480nits (typ) brightness. The handset has 88.7% screen-to-body ratio.
Pumping inside is an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor with 680MHz IMG GE8320 GPU. It has 3GB LPDDR4X (1600MHz 2x16bit) RAM and 32GB built-in storage space. It has MicroSD card support up to 256GB.
For optics, the Oppo A16K feature a single 13MP main camera (placed inside dual camera module) with 1/3.06-inch sensor, F/2.2 Aperture, 1.12um pixel size and PDAF support. At the front side is a 5MP selfie camera.
