Just few days back, Oppo Reno8 Series got certified by TENAA. Today, company has officially announced these smartphones. The lineup includes vanilla Reno8, Reno8 Pro and Reno8 Pro+.
The Oppo Reno8 and Reno8 Pro+ will go on sale in China from June 1st. The Reno8 Pro will start selling from June 11th.
Oppo Reno8 specs
This mobile measures 160.6 x 73.4 x 7.7 mm and weighs 179 grams. It has an optical in-display fingerprint sensor and comes with several other sensors like Accelerometer, Proximity, Gyro and Compass.
The Reno8 sports a 6.43-inch AMOLED display giving 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate delivers 800nits peak brightness. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection at front.
Under the hood is octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1300 6nm processor with mali-G77 MC9 GPU. The 8GB LPDDR4X RAM model has 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1 storage options. The top end 12GB LPDDR4X RAM version has 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The Oppo Reno 8 houses 50MP (main, F/1.8) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) triple cameras at back with LED Flash. At the front side is a 32MP selfie cameras with 1/2.74-inch sensor, 24mm wide angle lens, F/2.4 Aperture an 0.8um pixel size.
Powering inside is a 4500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. Connecitivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.3, USB Type-C and NFC. The cell phone runs on Android 12 based ColorOS 12.1 out of the box.

Oppo Reno8 Pro specs
It is a dual SIM 5G smartphone powered by Android 12 based ColorOS 12.1. It has a 6.62-inch AMOLED display featuring 2400 x 1080 pixels FHD+ resolution. It has 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 1300nits peak brightness and HDR10+ support.
Oppo has included MariSilicon X NPU chipset in Reno8 Pro. It was first seen in Find X5 series. At its heart is Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen1 Mobile Platform with Adreno 662 GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage and 12GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage space.
The Oppo Reno 8 Pro feature in 32MP selfie camera with 1/2.74-inch sensor, F/2.4 Aperture and 0.8um pixel size. At the back side is a combination of 50MP (main, F/1.8, PDAF), 8MP (120˚ultra-wide, F/2.2) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4) cameras.
The handset includes an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics. A 4500mAh battery is included and brings support for 80W fast charging. Connectivity options are same as Reno8.

The top of the line of the lot is Reno 8 Pro+. It has 6.7-inch AMOLED HDR10+ display with 2400 x 1080 pixels FHD+ resolution, 10-bit colors, 120Hz refresh rate and 950nits peak brightness.
The mobile measures 161.2 x 74.2 x 7.3 mm and weighs 183 grams. It has aluminum frame and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 at front. An optical in-display fingerprint sensor is present along with Mari X Silicon NPU.
The Reno8 Pro Plus feature in octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX processor with Mali-G610 MC6 GPU. It has 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM options with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage space. The handset runs on ColoroS 12.1 which is based on Android 12.
The cell phone houses a 4500mAH battery and delivers 80W fast charging. It has 32MP auto focus front camera (24mm wide) with 1/2.74-inch Sensor, F/2.4 Aperture and 0.8um pixel size. The rear camera module houses 50MP (main, F/1.8, PDAF) + 8MP (120-degree ultra-wide, F/2.2) + 2MP (macro, F/24.) lenses.
Connectivity options remain same as other Reno8 series smartphones.
