Panasonic P101 smartphone with 18:9 display launched

Panasonic expands its P Series range with its latest handset called Panasonic P101. It is company’s second mobile to sport 18:9 Big View display.
The device measures 148.8 x 72 x 9.1 mm and weighs 145 grams. It has Dual SIM slots and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat OS. Moreover, it also supports 4G VoLTE in India.
Specifications of Panasonic P101 include 5.45-inch Big View display with 2.5D curved screen. It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with ARM mali-T720 GPU.
It has 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage space, which is further expandable up to 128GB using MicroSD card. For selfies, Panasonic P101 features in 5MP front camera with LED flash. At the back side is an 8MP shooter with LED Flash and Auto Focus support.
The hardware is powered by 2500 mAh battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS/A-GPS, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack. The mobile also include Proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor and compass.
The Panasonic P101 price in India is set at Rs. 6999. Company has partnered with Idea to offer Rs. 2000 cash back. Moreover, Idea users will also get extra 60GB of data (existing and new ones). If you recharge of Rs. 199, users will be entitled to receive additional 10GB for 28 days. The handset will be available via offline retailer Sangeetha Mobiles.
