Philips has officially launched its Health Watch DL8791 in the US. It allows continuous health tracking and easily sycs with free Philips HealthSuite health app.
This fitness smartwatch monitors sleep, tracks hear rate and gives personalised guidance as well. It includes optical heart rate sensor that monitor heartbeats and can also estimate resting heart rate and heart rate recovery. Accelerometer is also included inside.
Moreover, The Philips Health Watch DL8791 is medical device whose accuracy of measurements and algorithms are validated clinically. It is also water resistant up to 1ATM and is splash and rain proof as well.
It can automatically estimate resting respiration rate (number of breaths taken by person per minute). It can also detect different activities like Walking, running, biking and shows quick and easy input calories on the watch or application.
The Philips HealthSuite health app receives data from Bluetooth. It is compatible with devices running on iOS 8 or higher / Andriod 4.4 or higher.
The Philips Health Watch DL8791 features an always on high resolution monochrome display with touch ring around it. It also has gorilla glass protection and features stainless steel 316L housing. The battery inside offers about 4 days of battery life. Fast charging is also supported (70% in 30 minutes of charging).
