Plantronics latest wireless headphones, the BackBeat PRO 2 has been officially announced. It offers on-demand active noise-cancellation (ANC) that minimizes background noise. It also has open-listening mode, which users can switch too without removing headphones.
The BackBeat PRO 2 features 40mm drivers with Plantronics signature audio. It has a flexible ear cup mount with new ear cups for better ergonomics and ear coverage. It’s and yoke weight is evenly distributed for comfortable wearing, even for long hours of usage.
This wireless headphones has class 1 Bluetooth with range of 100 meters. It can easily be pared with Class 1 Bluetooth devices. It has multipoint technology, that allows headset to two devices simultaneously and allows easy switching.
The Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2 has built-in dual microphones, 3.5mm Jack and Intuitive on-ear controls. It comes bundled with smart sensors that automatically pauses or resume music when user is not wearing headphones.
The battery inside offers up to 24 hours of listening and talking, up to 21 days of standby power and up to 6 months of DeepSleep hibernation.
The Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2 price is set at US$ 199.99 and comes in Black and tan color options. It’s special edition variant called BackBeat Pro 2 SE is priced upwards at US$ 249.99. It allows NFC Pairing, comes with premium finishing and hard travel case.
