POCO C3 budget smartphone with Helio G35 SoC, 5000mAh battery announced

POCO has officially unveiled a new C Series smartphone in India called POCO C3. It seems to be a rebaggaged version of Redmi 9C and comes with P2i splash resistant coating.

The POCO C3 specs include 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio. Powering inside is Helio Helio G35 processor with 680MHz superclocked PowerVR8320 GPU. The smartphone comes in options of 3GB / 4GB RAM with 64GB built-in storage space.

There are dual Nano SIM slots and dedicated MicroSD card slot. It has rear mounted fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 10 with MIUI 12. It has 5MP front facing selfie camera while the back side houses 13MP + 2MP + 2MP triple shooters with LED Flash.

The POCO C3 features in a 5000mAh battery and comes with several optimizations like Power Saving mode, Dynamic Power Management, Background App optimization, Application launch control, Smart Task allocation etc. It has Better Battery 2.0 which somewhat reduces battery degradation.

Statistically speaking, Poco claims it to offer up to 37 hours of VoLTE calling or 95/165 hours music on speaker/headset or 31 hours of video or 14 hours of gaming or 3 hours reading time or about 12.5 hours of video playback (720p) or 586 hours of standby.

POCO C3 Specifications

The POCO C3 3GB/32GB variant price is Rs. 7499 while its 4GB/64GB model costs Rs. 849. It will go on sale at Flipkart from October 16th during Big Billion Days sale. It comes in Arctic Blue, Lime Green and Matte Black colors.
