POCO expands its C series smartphone lineup in India with the launch of new smartphone called POCO C55. It is offered in Cool Blue, Forest Green and Power Black colors.
The POCO C55 is a dual SIM 4G smartphone housing a fingerprint sensor at back. It runs on Android 12 based MIUI 13 and boasts IP52 splash resistance. The device itself measures 168.76 x 76.41 x 8.77 mm and weighs 192 grams.
The POCO C55 specs include 6.71-inch multi-touch display with scratch-resistant glass and Oleophobic coating. It has 1650 x 720 pixels resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate and 1500:1 contrast ratio.
Powering inside is an octa-core MediaTeK Helio G85 processor paired with ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU (at 1GHz). It has 4GB / 6GB RAM and supports 3GB / 5GB virtual Turbo RAM. The smartphone is offered in 64GB and 128GB storage options. It comes with a dedicated MicroSD card slot allowing further storage expansion up to 1TB.
The POCO C55 feature in a 5MP front camera while the back side houses 50MP (main, F/1.8 Aperture, 1.28um pixel size at 4-in-1 Super pixel, 10X digital zoom) and an AI secondary lens along with LED Flash.
The cell phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery and supports 10W charging speeds. It has several sensors like Accelerometer, Light sensor and Proximity sensor (both software based solution).
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/QZSS, FM Radio and 3.5mm audio jack.

The C55 will go on sale in India at Flipkart from February 28th. Users can avail Rs. 1000 bank discount with HDFC / SBI / ICICI bank cards during first sale.
