POCO has officially launched its latest gaming smartphone in India called POCO F3 GT. It comes with IP53 splash resistant rating and sports a fingerprint sensor on side.
The POCO F3 GT has dimensions of 161.94 x 76.93 x 8.3 mm and weighs about 205 grams. The smartphone has Slipstream Design with Glass body and anti-fingerprint matter finishing. It has three style of bevels included square bevel at side and concave bevel at top. POCO has also used aerospace-grade aluminum alloy frame for added durability.
The POCO F3 GT features in magnetic dual-trigger design with mechanical structure and offers stable yet realistic pressing feedback. The magnetic triggers are claimed to have lifespan of up to 1.5 million taps.
The cellphone is powered by Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 out of the box. It has Dual Nano SIM slots with Dual 4G VoLTE. The handset also supports 5G but just N77 and N78 bands.
The POCO F3 GT specs include 6.67-inch Flexible AMOLED 10-bit HDR10+ display and boasts 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio. It offers 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. Notably, the device sports 1.8mm bezels at top and sides while the bottom is 2.7mm narrow.
Powering inside is octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor with ARM Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. It has 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM options with 128GB UFS 3.1 storage space. There is a 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage model as well.
To keep temperatures in check, it has super-large vapor chambers with 8-layer graphite layers and new aerospace-grade heat dissipation material with in-built “white Graphene” which covers 11540mm² area.
The POCO F3 GT features in triple rear cameras with a uniquely shaped Lightning Flash (with RGB glow lights) which is built around the camera module. The RGB lights can switch colors and can also act has notification LED for calls, messages and charging.
The Rear cameras include 64MP (main, extra-low dispersion optical hybrid glass lens, F/1.65) + 8MP (119° ultra-wide, F/2.2) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4) lens. At the front side inside a punch hole is a 16MP selfie camera.
The POCO F3 GT has triple microphones for noise cancellation, dual speakers that deliver Hi-Res audio and Dolby Atmos support. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack here so users will have to suffice with Type-C audio.
The smartphone packs in a 5065mAh (typical) battery capacity and supports 67W fast charging. The F3 GT is said to charge up to 50% in just 15 minutes and 100% in just about 42 minutes. In terms of connectivity, there is support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, NFC, USB Type-C and GPS(l1+l5)/GLONASS/Beidou/NavIC.
