POCO M3 is now official with Snapdragon 662 SoC, 6000mAh battery

POCO has just announced its latest M Series smartphone called POCO M3. It was unveiled at its online event.

The smartphone house a 6.53-inch LCD screen with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution at 19.5:9 aspect ratio and boasts 90.34% screen-to-body ratio. It has L1 WideVine certification and TUV Rheinland low blue light certification.

Pumping inside is octa-core (2GHz Kryo 260 x 4 + 1.8GHz Kryo 260 x 4) Snapdragon 662 mobile platform with Adreno 610 GPU.

The Poco M3 features in 4GB LPDDR4X RAM options with 64GB / 128GB respective storage space which is expandable up to 512GB using MicroSD card.

The smartphone measure 162.29 x 77.24 x 9.6 mm and weighs about 198 grams. Mobile also sports P2i splash resistant coating and houses IR sensor as well.. It has dual SIM support with Dual 4G VoLTE. Its 6000mAh battery supports 18W fast charging.

The POCO M3 specs include 8MP selfie camera with F/2.05 Aperture and 1.12um pixel size. At the back side are triple cameras consisting of 48MP (main, 1/2-inch sensor, 4-in-1 super pixel, F/1.79 Aperture, 1.6um pixel size) + 2MP (4cm macro, F/2.4 Aperture, 1.75um pixel size) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4 Aperture, 1.75um pixel size).

Usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.x, USB Type-C, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack will be support. A fingerprint sensor will be placed at the side while the audio is handled by dual speakers.

The POCO M3 4GB/64GB variant is priced at $149 while its 4GB/128GB model costs $169. Under its early bird Black Friday offer from November 27th onwards, you can get it for $129 and $149 respectively. The handset comes in Power Black, Cool Blue and Poco Yellow colors.
