POCO has officially its latest M Series smartphone in India called POCO M4 5G. It is company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone and is cut down version of POCO M4 Pro 5G.
POCO M4 5G specifications
It has an Android 12 powered smartphone with MIUI 13 on top. It has Dual Nano Slots and supports 5G (N1/N3/N5/N8/N28/N40/N78) and Dual 4G VoLTE.
The cell phone measures 163.99 x 76.09 x 8.9 mm and weighs 200 grams. It comes with IP52 dust / water resistant rating and houses a fingerprint sensor at side. To cut some cost, M4 5G has plastic build.
The POCO M4 5G specs include 6.58-inch LCD display that gives 2408 x 1080 pixels resolution, up to 90Hz refresh rate (30Hz / 60Hz / 90Hz variable), 240Hz touch sampling rate delivers up to 600nits brightness.
For processing power, it has an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The smartphone has options of 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB UFS 2.2 storage and 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB UFS 2.2 storage space. It does allow further expansion up to 1TB using MicroSD card.
The POCO M4 5G has 5000mAh (typical) battery capacity and allows 18W fast charging. Poco has included a 22.5W charger inside the box. For optics, an 8MP camera is placed at front with F/2.45 Aperture lens. At the back side are 50MP (main, F/1.8) and 2MP (portrait, F/2.4) cameras with LED flash.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack. Hi-Res audio is supported as well.
POCO M4 5G price in India and availability
The 4GB/64GB model is priced at Rs. 12,999 while the top-end 6GB/128GB variant costs Rs. 14,999 in India. The handset comes in POCO Yellow, Power Black and Cool Blue colors. It will go on sale in India starting May 5th at Flipkart. SBI Cred card users can get Rs. 2000 instant discount and EMI options.
