Polar has announced its latest smartwatch called the M600. It is IPX8 rated and is water resistant.
The Polar M600 features a 1.3-Inch TFT display with 240 x 240 pixels resolution. The screen as 260ppi pixel density and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection as well.
This fitness smartwatch is powered by 1.2GHz Dual Core Cortex-A7 MediaTek MT2601 processor and houses 512MB RAM. It has 4GB internal storage ROM and runs on Android Wear.
The smartwatch has dimensions of 45 x 36 x 13 mm and weighs about 63 grams. It is equipped with Optical heart rate sensor and allows activity tracking as well.
Polar M600 smartwatch makes use of proprietary 6-LED solution with algorithms for accurate heart rate. It also integrates GPS that allows 24/7 activity tracking like sleep, steps, calories etc. It also provide inactivity alerts.
The battery inside offers 2 days / 8 hours of training with Android Phones. It will last only 1 day / 8 hours of training with iPhone.
The device has microphone, Accelerometer, Ambient Light sensor, gyroscope and vibration motor. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.2 and GPS (mentioned earlier).
The Polar M600 Price is set at $329 or €349 and comes in Black and White colour options. It will be available globally by the end of Q3, 2016.
