Polk Audio, a high performance audio brand has introduced its first ultra-compact home theatre soundbar called the MagniFi Mini. It can stream wireless music directly from Smartphones, Tablets or any other compatible device using Google Cast or Bluetooth.
The MagniFi Mini Soundbar features in Polk’s patented voice adjustment technology that improves voice clarity. It is ultra-narrow and includes slim wireless subwoofer. It can deliver fully immersive home theatre surround sound via 5.1 Dolby Digital.
In terms of measurements, it is 13.4-inch long and 3.1-inch tall. It has 2.25-inch drivers and two 12mm tweeters, all fitted into its compact frame. The Soundbar also features night mode that reduces low frequency response of sound bar and sub’s driver array, bringing reduction in the amount of sound that carries in through out rooms.
The MagniFi Mini comes with one button preset EQ settigns that optimizes soundbar and subwoofer to provide the clearest output with optimum bass. It integrates Google Cast that allows users to control audio from cast-compatible audio apps. Moreover, it is compatible with any television, cable box or satellite IR remote control and comes with HDMI and Optical cable for easy connection to TV.
Plok Audio’s MagniFi Mini will be priced at $299 and will be available in October at Amazon, Crutchfield and other national retailers.
