PORSCHE Design Huawei mate 9 with 5.5-inch 2K display, Kirin 960, 6GB RAM announced

Huawei has announced a premium smartphone called Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9 along with Huawei Mate 9 smartphone. Both the smartphone were announced at an event in Germany.
The mobile has dimensions of 152 x 75 x 7.5 mm and weighs 169 grams.The device also comes with Fingerprint sensor on the back side.
It has 5.5-Inch Curved AMOLED display and sports 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. The screen has 534ppi pixel density, 100% color saturation (NTSC) and 70000:1 high contrast ration. Multi-touch is also supported.
The Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9 Specs include octa-core (2.4Ghz A73 x 4 + 1.8GHz A53 x 4) Huawei Kirin 960 processor with i6 co-processor and Mali-G71 MP8 GPU.
It comes pre-installed with Android 7.0 Nougat OS overlapped with Emotion UI 5.0. It has Hybrid Dual SIM slots and supports 4G LTE with Voice over LTE. The Smartphones RAM has been bumped up to 6GB.
Inside is 256GB of built-in storage ROM and 4000 mAh typical Battery. The battery supports SuperCharge (3.5-5V – 5A/9V-2A) technology that is said to offer full days of usage with just 20 minutes of charging.
The Porsche Design Mate 9 features 20MP monochrome + 12MP RGB cameras (dual cameras) on the back with Leica lenses. They have BSI CMOS sensors, F/2.2 Aperture and supports OIS, 4-in-1 Hybrid Auto Focus (PDAF / CAF / Laser / Depth), 2X hybrid zoom and 4k video recording. On the front is an 8MP selfie snapper with F/1.9 aperture.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2 LE, USB Type-C, GPS/Glonass/Galileo/BDS, NFC etc. It also comes bundled with G-Sensor, Gyroscope, Compass, Ambient Light, Proximity, Hall Sensor, Barometer and IR sensor.
The Porsche Design Mate 9 Limited Edition phone is priced at €1395 (US$1543 / Rs. 1,03,000 approx.). It comes in Graphite black color options. The mobile will be available at Porsche Design stores in Euro from Late December. Worldwide markets (excluding USA) will get the phone January 2017. Select Huawei Retail stores in Asia, Europe and Middle east will get the stocks as well.
