Portable digital products maker Portronics has launched something unique in India. The Portronics Biolock is company’s latest Fingerprint Padlock.
The Biolock is a smart biometric padlock which can be used for various purposes ranging from locking doors to cabinets, storage lockers or bikes etc.
It is made of stainless steel with a rugged zinc alloy coating for tamper resistance. Additionally, it is IP66 rated making it water and dust resistant. Weight in at just 59 grams, the Biolock hosues LED indicators.
The Portronics Biolock can store up to 40 fingerprints. Authorized persons can unlock it in just 0.5 seconds and does not require use of any password or keys.
It comes with 100mAh battery which fully charges up in 30 minutes. Company claims it to last up to 6 months and is rechargeable via 5V USB adapter.
The Portronics Biolock price in India is Rs. 2999 and is backed with 12 months warranty. Notably, it is available online Flipkart from Rs. 1899.
