Qualcomm announces Snapdragon 630 and Snapdragon 630 SoC’s – Key Features compared

Qualcomm has just announced two new processors for mobile platforms called Snapdragon 630 and Snapdragon 660. Both of them support Qualcomm Mobile Security and machine learning using the Snapdragon Neural Processing Engine SDK.
The Snapdragon 630 SoC is successor to Snapdragon 626. It has Adreno 508 GPU that offers 30% performance improvements than Adreno 506, which is found in its predecessor.
The Snapdragon 660 is the first processor lineup to feature Kryo cores. The chipset succeeds Snapdragon 653, boast 20% improvements in processing power and 30% performance improvements in terms of GPU, when compared with Adreno 510.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 will be available for customer by end of May. The 630 powered GPU’s are expected to come by Q3, 2017. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 is available for customers. Devices powered by 660 are expected to arrive this quarter.
