Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ 5G Mobile Platform announced – Key Specs

Qualcomm has officially introduced its latest Snapdragon 888+ 5G mobile platform for mobile devices. It is basically a beefed up version of Snapdragon 888 and offers slightly better performance and AI capabilities.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus 5G mobile platform offers AI-enhanced gameplay, streaming, photography and much more. It comes with an increased Qualcomm Kryo 680 CPU prime core clock speeds at up to 3.0GHz and is paired with 6th Qualcomm AI Engine offering up to 32 TOPS AI Performance (20% improvement).

The Snapdragon 888+ SoC comes with Snapdragon Elite Gaming features for ultra-smooth responsiveness and color rich HDR graphics. It houses Snapdragon X60 5G modem which offers up to 7.5Gbps top DL speeds. It also boasts FastConnect 6900 enabling latest Wi-Fi standards for faster speeds.

Qualcomm has confirmed that upcoming Honor Magic3 series flagships will be powered by new Snapdragon 888 Plus. Additionally, OEMs like Motorola, Xiaomi and VIVO has also confirmed smartphones powered by this flagship SoC.
