OPPO and Amazon India has teamed up and has unveiled Realme smartphone brand in India. Both of companies have announced Realme 1, company’s latest budget smartphone.
It has Symmetrical design with glossy back. It’s rear panel reflects light in a diamond like design. The cell phone houses dual-SIM slots and microSD card slot. There is no fingerprint sensor but the handset supports Face Unlock (0.1 seconds).
The Realme 1 measures 156 x 75.3 x 7.8 mm and weighs 158 grams. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo based ColorOS 5.0. It has 3410 mAh battery which should last you for at least a days on normal usage. It also comes with AI Battery management which learns your usage patterns or closes inactive apps. Company is promising at least 15 hours of heavy usage.
The smartphone features in 6-inch IPS display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio, 403ppi pixel density and multi-touch capabilities. The screen has 1.98mm slim bezels at the side and boasts 84.8% screen-to-body ratio.
The phone packs in 8MP front facing camera with F/2.2 Aperture AI beauty mode, AI Stickers etc. At the back side is 13MP primary snapper with LED Flash, F/2.2 Aperture, Auto Focus, AI Beauty, AI Scene recognition, AR Sticker, Bokeh effects etc.Connectivity wise, it supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The Realme 1 price starts at Rs. 8990 for 3GB/32GB Model (available from May 25th) and Rs. 10990 for 4GB/64GB version (available in June). The premium 6GB RAM / 128GB storage variant will cost Rs. 13,990 (available in June) and comes with free screen guard and case in the box.
