Realme has just announced a new Realme 7 Series model called Realme 7 5G. It brings 5G connectivity to budget smartphone segment.
The Realme 7 5G features in next generation octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G processor with 5G modem. It comes with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.1 storage space and allows further storage expansion up to 256GB. The SoC also supports 5G + 5G DSDS carrier aggregation.
The cellphone also houses unique competition mode which enhances performance and gaming experience. It has exclusive game space. It has 5000mAh huge battery with support for 30W dart charge fast charging. Realme claims that smartphone fully charges in about 65 minuets and comes with 5 protections. Statistically speak, it offers up to 35 hours of calling or 17 hours of YouTube or 9 Hours of PubG or 25 days of standby.
The Realme 7 5G specs also include 6.5-inch multi-touch display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 405ppi pixel density, 120Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Its screen has Corning Gorilla Glass protection and boasts 90.5% screen-to-body ratio. Mobile boots on Android 10 with Realme UI on top.
As far as cameras go, the smartphone packs in 16MP selfie camera with 79° FOV, F/2.1 Aperture and 5P lens. Front camera also supports 1080p video recording at 30fps. At the back side are quad camera setup consisting of 48MP (main with F/1.8 Aperture, 6P lens) + 8MP (ultra-wide with 119° FOV, F/2.3 Aperture, 5P Lens) + 2MP (B&W lens with F/2.4 Aperture, 3P lens) + 2MP (macro with 4cm focus distance, F/2.4 Aperture, 3P Lens). Other camera features include UIS video stabilization, UIS Max video stabilization, Ultra-wide angle video, slow motion video and up to 4K video at 30fps.

The mobile has dimensions of 162.2 x 75.1 x 9.1* mm and weighs 195 grams. It has side mounted fingerprint sensor placed inside power button.
