Realme has unveiled its new Realme 8 5G smartphone after its recent unveil of Realme 8 4G. It has fingerprint sensor at side and has support for face unlock.
The Realme 8 5G comes with dedicated dual Nano SIM slots and supports 5G (SA/NSA) and Dual 4G VoLTE. The handset is 8.5 m thick and houses a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
The smartphone sports a 6.5-inch LCD display with 90.5% screen-to-body ratio. It has FHD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and offers 90Hz refresh rate. Pumping inside is octa-core Dimensity 700 5G processor.
The Realme 8 5G has 4GB/8GB RAM options and 128GB built-in storage space. It also includes microSD card support up to 1Tb. The optics are taken care by 16MP front camera and 48MP (main) + 2MP (B&W portrait) + 2MP (macro) cameras at back with LED flash.

Update 22/04/2021: Realme 8 5G has been officially launched in India. Its 4GB/128GB model is priced at Rs. 14,999 while its 8GB/128GB variant costs Rs. 16,999. The handset will go on sale in India from April 28th and will sell at Flipkart, Realme.com and offline stores. European markets will get the handset in May and will cost 199 Euros.
