Realme 8 announced with Helio G95 SoC, 5000mAH battery

The Realme 7 finally gets a successor. Company has officially introduced Realme 8 smartphone in India. It has split design with splicing process for digital feel.

Its dual Nano SIM slots has dual 4G VoLTE support. The phone is powered by Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 on top. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.

The Realme 8 has dimensions of 160.5 x 73.9 x 7.99 mm and has weight of 177 grams. It has 5000mAh battery inside which supports 30W Dart Charge fast charging. It is said to charge mobile up to 50% in just 26 minutes and 100% in about 65 minutes.

The smartphone packs a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 409ppi pixel density, 1100nits (peak) brightness and boasts 90.8% screen-to-body ratio.

The Realme 8 Specs include octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 processor with ARM Mali-G76 GPU. It has options of 4GB / 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage space. There is a dedicated MicroSD card slot for further expansion up to 256GB.

Other features of Realme 8 include 16MP in-display selfie camera with Sony IMX471 sensor, F/2.4 Aperture, 5P lens, UIS Video stabilization support and 1080p video recording.

At the back side are quad-cameras with LED Flash. These include 64MP (Main, F/1.79, 6P lens, PDAF) + 8MP (ultra-wide, 119° FOV, F/2.25, 5P lens) +2MP (4cm Macro, F/2.4) + 2MP (B&W lens, F/2.4) shooters. The mobile also supports dual-view video, UIS Video stabilization, UIS Max Video stabilization, up to 4K video and up to 1080p slow motion video recording.

This cellphone also support Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5Ghz), Bluetooth V 5.0, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack.

The Realme 8 colour options include Cyber Silver and Cyber Black shades. It will go on sale at Flipkart, Realme.com and offline stores from March 25th.
